Difficult people make me (act) or (feel) this way

It’s all (their) fault

 

 

TRUTH

 

No one can (steal) what you won’t allow them to (take)

 

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

If I (avoid) the conflict, I can finally be happy

 

WHAT YOU’RE REALLY SAYING

 

I would rather (hide) than (live)

 

TRUTH

 

Avoiding conflict only adds (fuel) to (future fires)

 

“If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you.  If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.”

There is no (hope) for this relationship

I just (give up)

 

TRUTH

 

We have the (prime model) for how to handle difficult situations - It’s just not easy

HOW DID JESUS HOLD IT TOGETHER?

 

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet was without sin.”

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR ME?

 

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”

I     Know your (purpose) and (fulfillment) in life

I     Know your (gifting), (talents), and passions and don’t feel (‘less than’)

I     Pray about (when) and (how) to confront out of love

I     Build a genuine (relationship) with Jesus Christ

I     Allow your (life change) to overflow to those around you
