FOM is excited to be sending a mission team to Brazilian state of Minas
Gerais this July. Barry Parker will lead a team made up of , Bill and Sharon
Buck, Nanette Beck, Diane Allsbrook and Steve Carson. They’ll depart July 16th
and will return July 31st.
The trip is partly organized by Parkway Hill Baptist Church and their P70
project. P-70 seeks to establish partnerships between American congregations and
young startup churches in one of the most neglected parts of Brazil.
God has chosen these individuals to be sent to a land so hungry for God. The FOM
membership has been so generous with their support through prayer and various
fundraisers. Each team member traveling will only have to pay about 50% of the
cost of the trip.
Please be in prayer for this team as many have not been out of the country and
are leaving loved ones behind. Pray for a successful trip. Pray too for the team
member’s families while they are away.
Romans 10:30-15 For "Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how
can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they
hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them
without being sent? That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "How
beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" | |
